Nintendo Switch 2 & Backwards Compatibility

The eshops having close the way they have, and Nintendo historically offering not much in the way of backwards compatibility for digital games, the big question as we get closer to the Nintendo Switch 2 release is how will they handle their digital market of games. Will we be able to play our games form one console to the next?
